About Binti

Binti is our first girl. She is a big coddler and do-gooder. She is Thor’s daughter with an Italian bitch from Anubis Enigma kennel. Analisa, the Italian breeder, did not want Binti ending up with a big breeder. She has had very gentle character and great affection for people. Long story short, after visiting our puppies, I came home with small Binti in my arms. My husband was at that time in the USA. For him, second dog in the house was not an option. Thus, I promised him to find for Binti a top home in our hometown Varaždin. Binti now lives with our friends Nikolina and Damir Šilec with whom we share ownership.
Witnessing its mellow character, in spite of her hunting instincts, she shares her everyday life with two cats.

After Binti having lived with us for couple months, my husband experienced some benefits of having two dogs at home. Basenji breed dogs perfectly function in pairs. Finally we could go out without Thor – have a dinner or watch a movie. Besides her beautiful loving character, Binti is a dog with natural beauty and breathtaking feminine elegance. Eventually we hardly separated from each other. And it was the most difficult decision for my husband. But, since they are father and daughter, and not having enough experience, we feared incest. Luckily, we live not far away. Therefore, Binti is often visiting for pack
playing and hunting.

All in all, we eventually decided to become breeders because our passion for basenjis grew stronger every day. Binti has won planned titles. She is Junior Champion of Croatia and Champion of Croatia. She was also Best in Show at the Nordic Club Specialty Show (FCI 5 th group). We are excited and can hardly wait to see her first puppies by the end of this 2019 year.
